Sylt.. Pimping it up!
Today was a ground breaking day in the history of
traveling to Sylt, (Last stop of the PWA World wave tour!) ...gone are the days
of Ryan Air to Lubeck, loading all the gear on to a lorry and then 'Nik Baker'
leading us through the train stations (6hrs.. 2 changes) like a little scout
group... Today me and Alf made Sylt travel history... well for us
anyway!!
We spent an extra £30 and flew in straight to
Sylt!!! My god.. why we have never done this before is beyond me!!
The Kit cost me 50 euro (3 bags) 1hr to
dussledorf.. 1hr wait (Couple of beers.. Alf not me..  ) then 1hr to Sylt... first baggage off the
plane.. taxi (van) 10euro to the tent.. Done!! Stop the clock!!!
It must have been the lowest hassle trip
ever!!
...and we got here to a fair bit of wind and few
little waves... and of course rain!!! ..well you can't have everything!
